This book was a gift my boyfriend gave me on a pretty sad day. My taste in books is varied but I certainly tend to prefer books that I can find in museums' gift shops, artistic bookshops, second-hand stores. I really like to read fiction as well, but I'm always more attracted by design.
This little masterpiece is called "Sixty Impossible Things Before Lunch
" (in the pictures you can see the italian version of the book!).
Totally illustrated and handwritten by
Harriet Russel, the book is full of impossible questions, impossible pictures and ideas, such as "Which came first, the chicken or the egg", "How long is a piece of string?" and "What does the universe look like?". I've found it absolutely hilarious and smart.
"Sixty Impossible Things Before Lunch" is published by Edizioni Corraini, 2011.
The idea is great and the execution too.
